How and when the Closing Disclosure is delivered to the borrower is very important to ensure compliance with the new rules and a successful closing. As a reminder, the delivery time frames are based on business days. Business days for purposes of delivering the Closing Disclosure means all calendar days except Sundays and the legal public holidays such as New Year’s Day, the birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr., Washington’s birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
